This was Prof. Der Mugrdechian’s first visit to the Dallas community and he enjoyed his brief visit there. A committee led by parish priest Rev. Fr. Ghevond Ajamian, Anna Khachatryan, Mary Mukhtarian, Dr. Sarkis Kechejian, and Lusine Meeks, hosted Der Mugrdechian for his presentation.

The Treaties of San Stefano and Berlin, signed in 1878, marked the beginning of the Internationalization of the Armenian Question. Prof. Der Mugrdechian gave an overview of the challenges that Armenians faced in this tumultuous period.
