Armenian panelists presented papers at the recent conference of the National Association for Ethnic Studies, organized by Fresno State and held in Fresno from March 26-28. The panel on Armenians in America included Dr. Rubina Peroomian (UCLA) who read Literature as Witness to the Formation and Transformation of the Armenian-American Ethnic Identity, Matthew Jendian, (Sociology, CSUFresno), who spoke on Family Relations and Community Relations of Internarried Armenian Couples, and Dr. Isabel Kaprielian, (History and Armenian Studies, CSU Fresno) who presented Armenian Neighborhoods: Their Rise and Fall.
