One of the most useful of those for Armenians and non-Armenians to broaden their knowledge about Armenian culture is “Hye Etch.” This website combines useful information from various sources into one convenient and easy to navigate website. “Hye Etch” contains over 190 articles with information on topics such as the Armenian Genocide, the Republic of Armenia, arts, and religion.

The website is divided into four categories, with the first being an “online book.” This corner of the website is where all of the information is found. It is the place to start for those who are interested in learning more about Armenian culture and history. The second category is an “art gallery,” which features art and photography from Armenian artists. The third category is a tool for learning the Armenian language and alphabet. It takes the visitor through different lessons and allows them to practice reading and speaking at their own pace. The last category is “books and leisure,” which provides a catalogue of Armenian books for sale. It also provides games, coloring books, wallpapers, and other interesting activities.

These different categories make “Hye Etch” a useful one-stop site for learning about Armenia. “Hye Etch” is full of useful facts and resources to familiarize one with the Armenian culture.
